The Role

The aim of the position is to provide technical capability to design, implement and maintain integrations between 4C Software and other systems (Enterprise and Simulation) including on Secure Government Environments.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design, Develop, implement, Validate & Verify and maintain integrations between 4C Strategies' software solutions and third-party systems or data, including GIS data or systems and simulation standards and solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to define integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Act as the primary local technical contact for integration projects, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of 4C Strategies capability, by developing clear process documentation and by coaching teammates as required.
• Document integration processes, configurations, and workflows to support ongoing maintenance and scalability.
• Provide support to broader solution development efforts by packaging reusable integrations or components with selected applications.
• Provide support to general software maintenance, implementation and support as required

About you

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in system integration, including APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Experience with GIS data and software (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS) and simulation standards (HLA, DIS) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in programming languages is commonly used for integrations (e.g. Python, Java).
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data transformation techniques.
• Experience working within a quality-controlled development environment, including complying with test procedures, configuration management, and adherence to code quality standards.
