Your Role
As a Distinguished Engineer at 4C Strategies, you operate at the highest level of technical leadership, shaping the long-term direction of our products, architecture, and interoperability strategy.
You go beyond implementation – defining how and why we build, driving deep technical excellence, and ensuring our solutions deliver long-term impact across complex, mission-critical environments.
You will:
Define and drive 4C’s long-term technical vision and next-generation interoperable architecture
Own and evolve a forward-looking interoperability roadmap aligned with product and business strategy
Lead complex, high-impact initiatives across product families and coalition environments
Ensure seamless integration across products, platforms, and partner ecosystems
Drive adoption of M&S interoperability standards and engineering best practices
Influence the full development lifecycle, from vision to delivery
Act as a senior technical advisor in strategic customer and partner engagements
Support Business Development, Sales, and Solution Engineering with deep technical expertise
External Impact & Thought Leadership
Represent 4C in international forums
Contribute to the development and adoption of industry and coalition standards
Advance 4C’s thought leadership in modelling & simulation interoperability globally
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor senior engineers and help develop future technical leaders
Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership
Influence decisions through expertise, vision, and credibility rather than authority
Bridge technical and business domains to enable effective decision-making
About You
Extensive experience in software architecture and complex distributed systems
Deep expertise in interoperability, integration, and/or modelling & simulation (M&S)
Proven ability to define and drive long-term technical strategy
Strong track record of leading cross-organisational initiatives
Experience working with standards bodies or industry forums is highly valued
Ability to translate deep technical knowledge into business and customer value
Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
